WIP: My first polyclay doll

My first polyclay doll…

I’ve made trial heads last year (of which one survived) but this is my first full doll using polyclay. I’m still getting to know the medium and learning its quirks. Its an exciting adventure. Sometimes when I’m having difficulty with it I find myself missing cloth but challenges are merely an opportunity for learning. So forward I go.

I was actually making another doll that I drew a couple of days ago but it seems this is a new one. She just needed to be made. I’m still figuring out who she is. Stay tuned for her completion.
