I’ve been working on this for a while. I finished it today. Not really sure what the title should be but its about letting go of sad, painful and ugly things in my life.
Despite how dark this page is, because its about letting go then its cause for happiness.
I’m officially retired. I filed for retirement last Friday. Now I can do art full time and prepare for a new life with my prince.

Oh my goodness! Beautiful work! I also explore aspects of my life that convey themselves as being very dark, but the revelations are intended to be light because expressing them is a way of letting them go, a triumph. You are very talented and your work so very interesting. I’m glad you find the time to share with us now and then. I look forward to seeing more.
Enjoy your retirement and your prince, Winnie.

Congratulations on moving into the next phase of your life! And what an amazing picture! Is that pen and ink for the most part? I love the image of the sadness flying away.
Thanks, Steph, Christina, Sally, Celticsea. I felt lighter after making this page.
Yes, this is india ink plus water color and acrylic. I used black gel pen ink for the outlines.
Oh Winnie, this is amazing and powerful. Yes, with the others, I wish you every happiness in your new life with your Prince. Sending you a big joyful hug.
