My prince and I had wanted a ring to symbolize our love and we wanted something that would be fitting to the magical way we met and fell in love.
We met through flickr. He commented on one of my shrines…

Eternal Love
and I checked out his art and commented back on one of his works…

Love
which turned out to be an image I dreamed about the previous year.
We started to email about each other’s work and when we became a couple we both recalled about the dream we had of each other before we met.
He had a dream about an asian woman and painted the image…

She Sleeps
and I had a dream about a man named John with golden brown hair, cream colored skin that smelled like freshly baked bread and had a kind sweet voice.
When we saw Christina Jenning‘s Incredible Journey rings, we knew that was the ring for us. So I wrote her and told her our story. She was thrilled to make the ring for us. We’ve become friends through the process. She sent the rings to John (who is in WV) and along with it sent a surprise for me.

Incredibly the earrings matched the bracelet John got for me the previous month.
Here are the rings. John took a photo of them and I made this mosaic so I can share it all with you.

Soon I’ll post a photo of the rings on our finger when John and I finally get together. You see I’m half way around the world from him, just as he thought I’d be before he met me. He’s in WV and I’m in Manila.
Happiness!

Hi Christina. Your part in it isn’t tiny. “Its the lock and key to the reality of our love,” according to John. So its no small part. Thank you for making such a beautiful affirmation of our love. I love your new landing page.
Thank you, Winnie! Oh that line by John gives me goosebumps, and I wonder how it would look like in a painting…
The website up-cycling is coming along , snail pace , Natacha, my webdesigner in San Diego is the sweetest person. Slow is good, gives you time to think and my designs are a-changing as I discover new media and can work with recycled material and eco-friendly methods more and more.
The portal you see as my avatar is my business card, as big as I am.
